Tea Party at High Noon....

     Hello my Virtual World Travelers, I hope that todays post finds you well in Body, Mind and Soul and that your preparations for this years 420 Celebration are well on their way. One of my favorite holidays is 420, along with July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Easter :) I know I am missing a couple.. and I am sure they will come to mind as I write this... but for now you get the idea. Now 420 is not a holiday that everyone knows about... in fact if you are not familiar with the cannabis world, this may just allude you to its importance. But never fear, my beauties as I will enlighten you with a little tidbit on what can be only described as one of the "Happiest Celebrations" know to man kind :) 

     Now before we get started, lets discuss the flower I chose for my inspirational 420 post, and of course it would have to be my all time favorite "Lavender Jones"!! This Hybrid has two amazing parents...Purple Urkle and the infamous Casey Jones. True to its linage, Lavender Jones takes the yummy berry, grapy, skunky taste and aroma from the Urkle side of the family, and from the Jones side it carries the strong cerebral relaxation they are known for. This dense bud with its deep relaxation effect, coupled with the dreamy cerebral euphoria it delivers, makes it a must go to when nothing but the most is needed. With the legalization of recreational marijuana consumption in so many states, and soon so many more coming on board, in the not to far future everyone will be able to enjoy natures bloom.... and imagine a world were everyone is "Happy"!!

     This years celebration I decided to host a Tea Party, Sophia Style!! I invited my two favorites. both are such good sports, and are always up for a good smokie poo and a girlie girl chat, and both so not of the cannabis world :P Never the less, they are open and never think twice to participate in my crazies :)  So you ask, what does one serve at a High Noon Tea Party... well the menu might very from chef to chef, but the main ingredient is always the same :) The days of having to make your own infusions and hope they come out good are over, now its as simple as going to your favorite dispensary and choosing your poison from a variety of choices. I enjoy oils, super easy to use... a few drops depending on how strong you want it... and anything from baked goods to your favorite main dish can now be infused with delicious THC. Imagine adding a simple syrup to your ice tea :) or adding infused chocolate to your next batch of cupcakes or cookies... the possibilities are endless. 

   For this luncheon, I decided on a "Country Infusion" brunch, with a delicious Caramelized Veggie Hash topped with a Emu Egg, this dish was made using 5mgs of RSO, so not much was needed :P....  I paired it with a "Southern Bell" Sweet Tea made with 10mgs of a Sativa Simple Syrup Infusion, and of course a splash of top shelf spirits. By the end of the meal, my two little darlings were well on their way to feeling "Happy". Desert!!!! Now this is where I really had fun.... the key to this was "Semi-Homemade". The baking isle at your local grocery store is filled with all kinds of possibilities... Just keep in mind that your using infusions that are highly concentrated.... SO.... a little goes a long way. I usually follow the instructions on the package and once I have my mix ready, I add my drops of oil. I do recommend to use a dosage calculator to make sure you do not over medicate.... A LITTLE is all one needs :) 

     The Spiced Carrot Cake was a hit.... secret is adding soften cream cheese to the mix. Also I added a wee bit of infusion oil to the frosting, figured why not its celebration time :) After what I can only describe as a very fulfilling meal :)  it was time to enjoy a after meal drink and smoke.. 

     My "Lavender Jones" beauty grew some of the most amazing colas I have ever seen. Thick buds, filled with amazing tricomes filled with the most potent oils one could hope for.  This years trick was defiantly the "ALASKA FISH POOP"... can not say enough about that stuff, it's just plain good shit.  As you see the nugs on this gal continued to stay dense as they cured. Rolling this sticky icky was a bit hard due to its oil content.. but load a bowl with this "Bad Girl" and you have "Happy" in the making :) 

     I do believe my guest left very happy.... sent them home with a goodie bag for their very own 420 Celebration. So do encourage you to set this Tuesday aside for a celebration of Happy Vibes and Flower Power :) Try a new strain or cook up a delicious meal or a batch of brownies.... And most important of all, ENJOY!!!
      

     Try your green thumb... Satisfaction of smoking what you have grown is topped by very little. Keep in mind... Marijuana is not only for smoking.. this amazing plant makes so many products, from balms to lotions, aroma therapy to pain relief and all in between... BEST of all is that its natural. I use Marijuana for my daily management of my Fibromyalgia, after suffering for years from the side effects of synthetic medications.  SECOND HAND SUPRISE !!

     Hello my fellow Virtual World Travelers, I hope this post finds you well in Body, Mind and Soul, and you are enjoying your weekend. Weekends are my FUNDAYS!! I get up super early, make me a pot of coffee, pack me a delicious bowl and open up my Sales Notifications. No easier way to narrow down my list, not to mention a great savings on time and lindens for the UberLyft, then to be able to sit back, sip on some good coffee and enjoying natures bloom, while browsing at what is on sale and what are the must haves. Today being no exception, I started my day off as routine, made my list, poured my to go coffee cup in this super cute bedazzled tumbler I found at the Valentine Shop and Hop Event and off I went. 

     Let me share with you a little ditty about the nug that enhanced my travels today :) Key Lime Pie... yes you heard it right!! Key Lime Pie, this Indica-Hybrid is a close ken of Girl Scout Cookies, and true to its lineage, a super relaxing body high that is known for it relief of chronic pain and insomnia. This beloved Indica has the delicious flavors of lime candy, mint and a wee bit of spice, giving it a nice earthy, clocholatey taste. Beware of its creeping effect, a little goes a long way,  once it engages, you are all but nice and toasty ready for adventure :) Thank you "Key Lime Pie", even thought you creepy creped on me :) LOVE YA!!

   

     One of the items I have been searching for is a dining table with animation and place settings. With all the furniture shops available there is no shortage of options, but you are usually limited to what they are carrying at the moment. That is where Second Hand Shops come in handy *no pun intended :P. So when I tell you how pleasantly surprised I was at what I found!! You best believe, I was blown away by this place. Hands down :P One of the coolest, most diverse, 420 friendly kind of place.. I do even believe their are Aliens there but it might just me my imagination. Mr. Hand is for sale, and would make a lovely addition to your decor, mind ya he is like 6ft tall :)

     The stores throughout the property are filled with furniture and decor, ranging from Steam Punk to Classic Victorian, Rares to Gatchas and just about the craziest accent pieces one can imagine. The shopping center has a nice out door pavilion, with its very own band stand and smoking lounge area. This sim is nestled on its own parcel, so the lag is super minimal. Once you fully come into focus, the colors and details of all, is just to cool for words. They also have nice music piping in and the atmosphere is super chill, making for a perfect stroll while enjoying that nice herbal buzz you have going.  

      The smoking area is cozy with a small seating area. The dispensary is stocked with a nice assortment of items for purchase. I fell in love with this bench, and as you will see in the photo section of my blog it now sits in my living room. The bong is truly a piece of art work, hand blown with swirly swirls in it.. if your looking for a nice bong, this one would be a nice choice. Incense and smelly goodies are a must in my house, so when I saw these all natural incense and smelly goodies, I took advantage and got some for the main house. Nothing nicer then a pleasantly scented smelly good going while partaking... so adds to the zen and experience. 

     Out in the pavilion area is this super nice stage. You will definitely want to take your time and look around, there is some really cool memorabilia on display. It is completely set up for concerts, so I am sure there must be from time to time performances. I will have to keep an eye out for any save the dates, and let cha know. 

     I so wanted to take this little guy home.... But, his job is to sit their and look cute for others to enjoy, so sadly I left him behind. Why oh why do I fall in love with cuteness and then get sad when I cant take them home....... 

     

       Imagine turning your sim into a fairy garden, filled with magical mushrooms and colorful flora.  Whimsical unique items adorn this beautiful waterfront garden. How about a Unicorn for your garden, or a little gnome family, imagine the tom foolery they would bring to your life.... 

     I fell in love with this bed.... and I am happy to say that it now sits in my bedroom. So sorry pretty blue bed.. this one just stole my pixelated heart. Not to mention its a Rare.. and the price AMAZING!! 420 Lindens!!  Now mind you when you purchase a second hand item, you are purchasing a copy of it, so when you buy it make sure you take it before leaving, simply right click on the item to open up the round menu and click take... once you get it in your inventory it is ready to be rezzed at home. Another thing to keep in mind is that many of these items are one copy only, so once they sale they no longer are available.. Sometimes you just have to go with your heart, with those special purchases. 

     The name of this Hidden Gem is "Lars Landing" located at  Paradise Ranch (160, 64, 0) and I give this place 5+ Puffs of approval!! Totally recommend UberLyfting over, and stroll around. Take your time there is lots to look at, and I can promise you will not leave empty handing, lol I went back twice.... A special thank you to the creator(s) of this Sim. It was one of the best shopping trips So well put together, very welcoming and best of all 420 Friendly !!

My She-Shed !!

     Hello my Virtual World Travelers, I hope this post finds you well in Body, Mind and Soul, and that you have done at least one special thing for yourself today.  One of my passions is decorating, creating and recreating. I have to confess the decorating, well this passion kinda came about cause I needed to display the many treasures I had collected throughout my travels, and continue to do so *hence the reason for my ever evolving sim :) And yes I know my friends reading this post are laughing right now and saying that my collection is more like an obsession, which I will strongly disagree. I look at it as more of a hobby and shitz howdy how can one resist those one of a kind, too cool for words, finds!!

     So before I give you a tour of my She-Shed, I want to tell you about this sweet bud I used as my inspiration driver, "Desert Snow". This Indica-Hybrid combines the heavy, relaxing body high one expects from an Indica, but with the cerebral stimulation a sativa gives you. This magnificent strain allows your mind to enjoy more insightful thoughts as well as increasing your creativity. Making it a good go-to for those fun projects, or long walks with that favorite someone.  

    When I first purchase this home, it was a 4 bedroom cottage with small tiny rooms. Although super cute, in fact adorable, I needed more space. With a click of the mouse and a wave of the wand and bingo, the She-Shed was born.

Now you can turn most anything into something different. For instant, take that old door sitting in your dusty inventory, and take an end table *the more ornate the cuter :P, and link them together. You have now made yourself a hall tree. Or shitz take that same door, copy it 2 more times place them together and whalla you have a room divider. Teleporting to a sand box is always a plus when doing such deeds as unlinking items and creating. When using a sandbox, make sure to read the rules and before leaving its always a good idea to do a quick scan, just out of courtesy. A simple ctr-alt-t does the trick in finding any object left unlinked. Do not be afraid to recreate, after all if ya mess up just delete and start again. Just make sure your item is copy and modifiable.  It takes a little practice but once you get the hang of taking apart and then putting back together again, the task is super easy.

     We each have our own taste when it comes to décor and fashion. I encourage each of you to create your space in which ever fashion makes you feel happy. I created my She-Shed in what makes me happy and at the moment it seems to be "Pink" lol. Pink its just so Perty!! 

     My bathtub, what can I say. My dream has always been to own a claw tub, I now own 2 lol. With a fizzy bath bomb, that yes actually fizzes when you place them in the water, *and available on the marketplacezonia for fast delivery, making bath time a whole lot more enjoyable. One thing to know about me is, I am a lover of animals, as you will see throughout my post, I own a few. Rodney came to me from Jian, love that place. And I love my Rodney, sweet little Beta, loves to keep me company when I am getting ready for the day. Critters of all kinds are available for adoption, some have special requirements, but most just need a good home with lots of love :), in return they give us joy....and yes sometimes little poopies, but hey that's what those Rumba Poo-alator XXLs are for, set that bad boy up and let it roam, your area will be squeaky clean... 

     My bed... my favorite piece of furniture has to be this bed. Super soft fluffy melt into kind of comforter, over a mattress fit for a QUEEN, doesn't get better... did I mention the Hemp Cotton sheets, and the pillows OMG!! my pillows, your head literally disappears, they be so soft and fluffy.  As prim hungry as my bed is *17 to be exact, I can not leave it in storage, what good is a beauty like this stuffed in darkness, where only the gremlins go when they are hungry and need to destroy a file or two. 

      This is where the action happens, lol. In other words, where I get ready for my adventures and suches. No she-shed is complete without a good vanity and of course plenty of mirrors. Again go with what makes you happy.. here seems Roses made me happy :) Marketplacezonia is an excellent place to find furniture and décor. One can even narrow down the search by using the filters. One of the key words I like to use in my search is "Gift". You will be surprised how many vendors place their group gifts on sale for the public. Now mind you they are not free most will cost at least 1L, but if you visit their in-world shop, you can not only become a member and get the items for free but also they all have amazing discounted bonus's for their peeps, along with updates on sales and events. As a non-premium member of society, I only am allowed to be a member of 40 groups..... this sometimes can prove to be a challenge... and one of the things that I wish would change on this lovely platform. 

     Finally the parlor, and one of my favorite places to hang out with the girls, smoke a bowl and have us a good chat. The couch and armchair are menu driven with tons of fun poses. My pink bong is one I found while online shopping, not only is it low on prims but super pretty and girlie girl. In recent times, I have seen so many nice items being created for the cannabis community, one cant help but to display them. I hope this post inspired you to go out and start creating. Spring Has Sprung !!

 

Spring has Sprung!

     Hello my Virtual World Travelers, I hope this post finds you well in Body, Mind and Soul and smiles are all your face wears today :)  So there are two things I totally enjoy beyond words and that is a good cup of coffee and a nice bowl of Mother Natures bloom. Combining the two has been my morning routine for ages now, "Wakie and Bakie" I always say. Nothing like a good head to get ones creative side flowing...:) With this in mind, I have been busy with my "Spring Has Sprung" project, and getting the greenhouse ready for this seasons harvest. I love flowers of all kinds, but my most favorite has to be the Cannabis Bloom. With its majestic colas and aromatic scent, nothing to me rings Spring more then the warm smell of collitas rising up in the air :P.  Amazingly, growing these lovely ladies is not as hard as one thinks. Good seed *feminized is best, good soil *Fox Farm my fav, good water.. member PH balance is paramount and finally good nutrients * Alaska Fish Poop no better poo then that of them little fishes in Alaska. Shopping list *check, Theo and Memu on shoulder *check, and most important sensible shoes * double checked :P and I do believe I am ready to hit the road.

    Before we get started I have to tell you about todays adventure enhancer "Primus". This dreamy stain helps find your bearing with its potent effects that are sure to sooth your mind and body. An Indica classic on its own, this bud has cool lineage with Granddaddy Purple being its kin. With its sweet aromas of grapes and berries and its full-body relaxation you just can not go wrong with this one.... I found that a little went a long way, which we all know that is a good bud :) Thank you "Primus" !! Love ya !!

     So after a full day of teleporting to all my fav stores, I was so ready to just sit a spell and enjoy a refreshment and a wee smokie pokie. A dear friend of mine had recommended a little place with a unique flair. Wanting a different something, something to go along with my smoke, I thought of no better place. So off I Zoomed In my Uberlyft. Now believe me when I say unique I do mean unique, nestled in a shopping complex this hidden gem was all that I was told and more.  Small and quaint, perfect seating area, plenty of offerings, good music and of course good abidance.  Decorated very simple with woods and greenery, you are instantly relaxed and just want to settle back and enjoy. The outdoor seating area was very nicely landscaped with picnic style seating. I could see how this place could fill up on the weekends.

   

     Lets talk about their menu, pre-rolls, espresso, teas, cappuccino, soups, homemade lolly pops, to an amazing box of pre-rolls. Fungi anyone? Mushroom soup? they got ya covered. I went with the Herbal Fungi tea and one of those to good to pass up pre-rolls to go. The shop gives their group members privilege to a few free perks... one being coffee :)  Before leaving I had to go back and get a box of the pre-rolls and one of those amazingly looking lollypops :) No Dum Dum for Yum Yum here :) My joint box now sits on my coffee table in the "She-Shed ". I just know my friends will enjoy just as much as I did. 

    The name of this sweet little gem is "The Weed Grinder" INFINITA (173, 135, 22) and I give it 4 Puffs of Approval. Take a landmarker along with a few goodies for later, and did I mention they are open 24 hours!! perfect for the late night munchies.  A special thank you to the creator(s) of this coffee shop. It was so well put together, very welcoming and best of all 420 Friendly!!.

Hopping Good Times!!

 

Hopping Good Time!!

     Happy Easter my Virtual World Travelers, I hope this week has brought you many adventures and that you are all well, in Mind, Body and Soul.  As they say Spring has Sprung and I have been bitten by the spring fever, and enjoying gathering this years collections. InWorld has been bustling with activities one can definitely smell the flowers *cannabis :) in full bloom, with all the egg hunts going on, how can one not help but to hunt and gather and get into a happy vibe:)

     This weeks travels has been enhanced by "BETTY WHITE" this sweet little tree shaped nug is an Indica with its hints of sweet berry, citrus and pine and just the right amounts of THC and terpenes make for a good relaxer, without locking ya on the couch.  This one is deffo one of my new favorites. Thank you "Betty White" !! Love ya! 

     So after an exhausting fun filled day of treasure hunting, egg collecting and landing on peeps heads, (cause they don't move from landing pads.. PEEPS please shitz and gets... so others like myself can land with no worries of messing up your hair's), I was so ready for a tokie smokie refresh. Being the avid smoker that I am, I was looking for a place to chill and put my pixelated feet up (the heels look amazing but wow even avi's feet hurt after shopping, and forget about it the dancing, dont get me going lol) since it was reaching the magic hour of 4:20, I called for a UberLyft. Ya know one can always count on them Uberlyfters... unless a sale or a free give away is going on and den yep forget about it,  no dice, no transporto. Any whos they were prompt on arrival, and soon I was ready for my teleportation, taking advantage of their knowledge, I asked if they knew of any fun marijuana friendly places on the grid... without hesitation they suggested this little coffee shop and assured me I would be in for a treat... Zoom... off I went and soon found my self pleasantly surprise to have landed on this little hidden gem of a parcel. 

    I was greeted by a beautiful seaside coffee shack, with a cozy sweet outdoor gathering place, that not only was inviting but did I mention the décor :) . The décor what can I say.. perfect and entertaining.. I so enjoyed caming around and taking it all in. I did see a DJ booth so I see they do hold events, at the time of writing this blog I was unable to find a calendar of events, but did find a group join, with privileges to the music... something that adds to this super cool experience. 

Did I mention how super cool the decor is lol. K so I will say it again, you are in for a treat. From cuddle pillows, to little tents, to vintage VW Vans.. this place has it all. BUT lets not forget the Coffee Shop. This place has been decorated in vintage hippy style for sure. Not one inch if this Shabby Shack has been left untouched.. Not to mention the loads of bongs, pipes and such that are there for your use. Don't worry if you forgot to bring your stash.. they got ya covered. The counters are filled with a nice selection of goods ... from buds and bongs to pre-rolls and edibles. 

  

 

 I was greeted by a super friendly Budtender, who directed me to the baked goods and coffee. The coffee shop. OMG, where do I start yummy delicious offerings I am I totally suggesting the cupcakes...* which she was super nice to offer me the recipe, one I will be sharing super soon. Now  if ya gonna try them, know these little guys have a kick... and the reason I now have a sneezing gnome in my yard, with his apple biting pal.. no kidding it really says that on his bio :P.  

The lounge area had a few relaxing sitting areas, with each couch and chair offering a nice menu of animation to pick from. My fav, of course was the toking one. To my chagrin it gave me a free pre-roll to enjoy, what a better way to take in your surroundings, hey! The ocean waves crashing outside was super mesmerizing, and relaxing. Did have to look at the floor a few times lol. Seems they are invisible on purpose and not cause they haven't rezzed, gave me such a giggle once I figured this out. As for the music, one of the perks of being a member is that you are allowed to put any album on you like, they had a really nice selection to pick from.
